Abstract
Although, English is the dominant language of Twitter, many people around the world are commenting on Osama Bin Laden. He is an international celebrity and people are familiar enough with him to feel comfortable making jokes. We counted the languages and the number of jokes tweeted in English to determine the extent of the globalization of our political popular culture.
