Notes
Yael is struck with guilt as she sees hears the spirit of her sister coming through a dybbuk. Yael here is seen in destressed clothing, not dissimilar to what Jewish people in 1940s Poland, wore when arrive to concentration camps from ghettos. Her sister Dvora can be seen in similar clothing that has the star of David patch which Jews were forced to wear. She has her hand on the Russian soldier Zalman to symbolize the connection they share as she uses him to communicate with the living.
