Act two opens with the Brad Donovan show, where Vera, Gloria, and Peter Rhys-Davies are guests on the 1973 talk show. Gloria's costume is inspired by Bette Davis and Peter Rhys-Davies was modeled after the bands Pink Floyed and The Eagles.
As the play progresses and the characters age, I wanted to show how their lives affected their dress. During the 1970s, Gloria shifts into darker tones with accents of color while Vera steals the spotlight with her orange African print dress. This shift in color shows how Vera begins to speak out against the hypocrisy of Hollywood instead of allowing it to happen.
