Abstract

This project was made to examine how the Old Capitol Mall, its users, and patrons react to the history of violence in the area.

This project is about the Old Capitol Mall and the way the mall has had to deal with violence in the area. We wanted to get separate perspectives on this topic by interviewing different sources. We found that the mall’s image has been tarnished because of its known violence. From our sources, we learned that security needs to be ramped up. Signs will not be able to keep the peace in the area. People’s businesses are in danger if the lack of security persists.
