An interview with David Burt, a chef who has brought his own taste of vegan and vegetarian friendly food to Iowa City

We had the opportunity to uncover the story of David Burt, a local chef who has been cooking up delicious vegan and vegetarian friendly food for over 13 years. We thought his story should be heard because he has presented a different and alternative way of dining to Iowa City. His healthier menu is not quite mainstream, but through David's efforts it is becoming more prevalent to the meat-lovers of Iowa City. Through his journey, he has had his ups and downs, but now he has found his place as a small business owner and has a job that is meaningful to him.
