Back Matter

About the Cover Image
Our cover reproduces another part of "Proposal for a cityscape and land reclamation," by Luther Utterback, watercolor and ink, 1975. Utterback's best known work is on a very large scale. Local readers will be most familiar with it from limestone and landscaped constructions in front of the Hoover Building at the Capitol Complex in Des Moines and near Hancher Auditorium, near the Iowa River, in Iowa City. Utterback is working on a larger project now, to which our covers this year are all related.
